You left us without warning,
that cool January morn.
The family that you left
a daughter and five boys.
We all knew it would happen
it was something we could'nt change
You were in GODS hands
and his plans were already made.
I know we had our difference
we would make each other mad.
And everytime I stomped out,
when I got home I was always sad.
Mom, I have always loved you
sometimes you had your doubt.
But what we had,I'd rather have
than living my life without.
Now that you are in Heaven
for you and dad we all cry,
Remember we will all be together
in that Sweet By and By..

Your Loving Son
Buren
This is a magnificent elegy, and a great testimony of faith in that final reunion---from which we will never part with our loved ones again. This is an excellent poem!
