Granted a Grace
An undeserved Love so sweet to taste
It shakes the stubbornest of souls
With pillars of fire
Separating like wire, the grain
The day the harvest is gathered into the arms of Love
On that day
Hallelujah's will reign
The living will sing
As the sleeping awake
As Jesus Himself
Breaks the bonds and chains we all now hold
And, unto the Father, He will deliver and defend
All those He knows
Though struggle persists
Grace, allow us to resist the serpent's tongue
That we may one day kneel before Your throne
Though we may try
Ourselves will never suffice to atone
Without the intercession of Christ alone
On that day
Hallelujah's will reign
The living will sing
As the sleeping awake
As Jesus Himself
Breaks the bonds and chains we all now hold
And, unto the Father, He will deliver and defend
All those He knows
When the daylight is gone
And the song of this life has grown old
Our heavy eyes with confidence can close
And, when they open again
And, Light pours in from the Creator of Men
Our souls will rejoice forever and ever, Amen.
On that day
Hallelujah's will reign
The living will sing
As the sleeping awake
As Jesus Himself
Breaks the bonds and chains we all now hold
And, unto the Father, He will deliver and defend
All those He knows
