I don’t know what you’re looking for

So I wish you good luck in your search for happiness

Believe me, it isn’t easy watching from such a distance

Knowing that what I say may not help you through life’s experience

Just know that I’ll be praying for you every step of the way



Faith is hard to describe

And in a way of our own making

But through it all, the ups and downs

The twists and turns, the ins and outs

There’s something bigger giving us strength



Dear friend, I am here if ever you should need me

And although I can’t tell you how to get through life

I will always be here to comfort you if ever you should feel the need

I want to tell you right now that no matter how bad the outcome may look

Remember that I’ll be praying for you every step of the way

Before you walk out on your own
