The naked truth is before you
why do you run and hide.
uncovered truth is before you
afraid, you won’t come outside
truth exposed leaves you vulnerable
truth is like nakedness,
from which you cannot hide
cannot be denied
the lie is well clad
downy, slick, and sharp
I see you are awed
love play in the park
deception dressing
to impressing
leading you to believe it is
what it is not
but you love
the food of your sight
walking in your pride
feeding your meat that will
not be denied.
