I'm an animal to the world, lost in translation.
Bound to silence, the only promise ever kept.
Left to watch the world revolve before my eyes,
Only to be told they must learn for themselves.

What words do I use to tell you
That I feel so undeserving?
What words do I use to tell you
That I hide my fear every day?
What words do I use to tell you
I'm not worth worrying about or loving?

I can't seem to break this silence,
So I'll let the silence break me.
What do I do when words are all I know?

Someone come and grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
The strength to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Knock me down so that I can get back up,
Smarter and stronger than before the blow.

What words do I use to tell you
That I love you when those words
Don't do you justice?
What words do I use to tell you
I've felt alone my whole life
Until you broke down my barriers?
