Turning point

Folder:
2010

sitting in the dark
in the quietness of the park
a lonely soul - is waiting
looking for a better view
asking for a break through
wanting to know
wanting the wind to blow
to tell her what to do
she'd tried her best
which was quite a quest
but still she failed the test

she sat there thinking
trying not to cry
blinking
blinking back the tears
with her career
sinking
and no where to turn
the wind suddenly said
your a throughbred
your time will come
go head
show the world what you can do

I can relate...

I can really relate to this poem. You wrote it really well and I love how there is true hope at the ending.

Thank you. I'd just lost my job when I wrote it.

I'm mature enough to forgive you, But not dumb enough to trust you.
