You feel his breath fall across your neck...



He's so close...yet so far away.



Your turn around to wrap him with your arms,

but suddenly he's out of reach.

All you want is him to be yours again

but she took him, and theres no release.



You feel his hand grace upon yours...



He's so close... yet so far away.



You raise your hand hoping for his,

but there's nothing, but the wind.

Suddenly a cool tear falls,

you feel him wipe your tear away

saying, it will be ok.

But then you hear her selfish voice,

and he vanishes without a choice.



You hear his voice, whispering in your ear...



He's so close... yet so far away.



You try to listen to his words,

but all you hear is bushels of blur.

You strain your ears to hear the sounds

of that guy that runs around

he runs around your head all day,

until that girl gets in the way.



You hear him say your all i want...



He's so close... yet so far away



You know it now,

his real, true feelings

All held back by some misleadings.

He thinks he loves that snobby girl

but deep inside, your his world.

He's sunken into an infactuation,

so deep inside he doesn't know your anticipation

You anticipation to just get him back...

so your whole life will fall back on track

You try to tell yourself it will be okay,

but it's not, not even for one day

all you do is cry and pray,

hoping it will go your way



He's so close... yet so far away...



It's seem to you, that he's right there,

running his hands through your soft blonde hair,

All you do is look right up

and theres his eyes just filling you up,

they fill you up with so much warmth,

letting you know that he's all yours.



He's so close... yet so far away.



You remember back, to that one happy day

He holds you in his big, strong arms,

letting you know your safe from harm,

You know you could never let him go

but then she makes you think... i don't know.

She makes you think that it would be better...

if you and him were not together.

You believe it even having doubts...

you let him go, to even things out.

Now you know he's your best friend,

but then again...where has he been.

Oh my god... he's with the girl

That one girl that squashed your world.

You thought she wanted the friendship she lacked,

but then again, she just stabbed you in the back.

Now they're gone all day long,

not even asking you to go along.

You feel the hate build up inside,

it's so high up, it's hard to hide

All you want is to have him back

you find urself yellings, WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH THAT!

Your angry now, but you still keep calm

not showing her that your like a bomb

your like a bomb ready to explode,

explode with words of jealousy and hate

and you try to tell yourself IT'S ALL JUST FATE!

but you know he's the one that's meant for you...

not for that girl to ruin too.

You know she'll ruin him... like she did to you

all you want is to be happy too.

Look at her... so happy and sweet.

While your there keeping it all discreet.

But one day.. when she is gone,

you'll go to him, after so long,

you'll speak of your heart and sing him his song,

and then he'll know that he was so wrong.

he'll lift you up into his arms,

and wipe away your unhappy days,

when he was so close... yet so far away.
