The evening is here, as the sun sets low,

under the same sky with it's purple glow.

knowing that somewhere out there, your heart does lie,

Together we can watch the show under the same big sky.



The miles seem so short, when lying under the stars,

the distance is no longer, for right here is where you are.

Believing that you see the same star that I see,

I'm thinking of you, are your thoughts of me?



Do the same winds carress your face as they do mine,

do you feel my arms around you, is it me that you find?.

Do others see as I do, that star that shines so bright,

the one that brings you to me on this warm starry night.



Can you hear me darlin as I call out your name,

whispering to you softly as my heart goes insane?

Wishing upon every star that I see in the sky,

to bring you here to me, in your arms I'll lie.



My mind flowing in and out of thoughts of you,

looking to the Heavens, trying to get through.

As the clouds pass by, the tears I do cry,

waiting for a miracle, under the stars of our sky.
