Have a pleasant trip, that's all they say, everytime we travel, we are wished good health, good trip, good route and good wind. Then it's all up to us, we can be grouchy, impatient, pushy, insensitive, and worsts, a migrane crops up, maybe we wished it to have, so we can take a pill and sleep off all the way to our destination.BUT, we can do the opposite, just like how I did it.
It was going to be a longgg trip. All in all,20 hours, including stop overs.By PLANE. Now if that is not long enough for you, then I don't know where you have been.First, try to get a good seat, a window is best for me, but if you have to get up now and then to visit the John, then take the isle. Once settled, check what's showing, Oh, yes, they do have the screen right in front of you, located at the back of the seat in front of you, isn't that great.? Somehow, you're bound to find a good movie, and in the end I'm sure you're bound to watch all the movies.Remember, you've got 20 hrs to kill, lol.
Then, don't forget to check the food, it's either fish or beef, and I was wondering as to what happened to the pork, is it because of the swine flu...joke, joke, joke.
Then it's time to open your book, start reading that beautiful story you have always wanted to read, or a poem you have always wanted to weave, or an essay you have wanted to learn,or a letter you have always wanted to read and re read.Or better still, take along your hi tech lap top, that gives you 7 to 9 hrs. of non stop usage, and I bet you my beautiful smile that your trip is one of the best trip ever that you have taken.
I did just about all this, and I am mighty proud that not a single valium was taken, Except, for a little "sin" I am entitled too, and it is the red wine that they offered on boared. And I slept like a baby all the way to New York City.
Hi Vilma,
Thanks for sharing your trip with
us. I enjoyed reading about your flight. Especially
a sip of wine. I know you like it. I might
take a little sip once in awhile myself. ha ha
When I first posted poems, I was told, you'll
meet wonderful people from all over the world.
I have, and one of them is you.
Have a wonderful, safe vacation.
Your Friend, Heather. lol
Yup, a little red wine never hurts.
Sounds like your flight trip went well though I can't personally fathom being stuck on a seat for 20 hours. The longest flight I ever took was LA to Boston and that was plenty long enough for me..
