My heart was stolen by a stranger, so handsome was he;
That I never thought about the consequences
He would soon create for me.
So dark were his eyes,
So strong were his arms,
And he was all mine
As I fell for his charms.
I talked only of myself
As you loved me like no other,
And I did not know that there was someone else.
You played with my heart,
Using me all along,
Knowing it would tear me apart
After you'd gone.
Soon you left and I was all alone,
With only the memories of how you touched me,
And the way my whole body came alive;
The yearning, burning, aching need you awakened,
Made me yours for just awhile.
I see now that you were only using me
And I was too blind to see,
That it was never meant to happen
For me to be happy.
BEAUTIFUL WORK
