Just Let Go

Iridescently
you came into my life
so remarkably
how you hold my heart high
it's so heavenly
the way you make me smile
inspiring me
to keep myself alive

But now suddenly
you must be on your way
to find another me
there's nothing left to take
nothing left to breathe
dysphoria feeds the pain
and I can only dream
of how your soft lips taste

As I stare into you
knowing that this will be the last goodbye
I can only hold you
knowing that I've just let go of my life
(Chorus)

I won't try again
I did it all for you
you won't feel again
my hands feeling through you
I awake again
only not to find you
I won't see again
the way that I used to

-Chorus-

Devastatingly
my heart no longer beats
it hit heavily
the stinging of defeat
the sky falls on me
as blackness surrounds me
there can never be
another you and me

-Chorus-(2x)

My stomach tightens up when I read this. It has a very emotional ring to it.
