Ugonna Wachuku
When all our tears are shed;
when all the pain is gone;
when the rainbow appears in
the soothing blue-grey sky;
when all hope is won on
broken dreams and promises,
remember the bridge to love.
Remember my bald eagle head
on your shinning face.
Remember my searching soul
in your heart and being.
Remember all that I mean
to you because there will
be moon stories and songs
tonight.
There will be tears in my
eyes. There will be pain
in my heart.
There will be joy within
the deeper me; and I'll
surely remember that you
are the bridge to love.
You are my bridge to a whole
new world where pain is pain
made into tearful joy in the
sun's glittering face.
Indeed, when the coming dawn
embraces me on the road to your
heart, I will remember, with tears
in my yearning eyes that you are
the
bridge
that
I
seek.
powerfull poem
i enjoyed it
This are moving words, but also a hope to visit a loving land, and I think we're both bridges to love in God's Amazing Grace and after crossing it, only shiny suns we will see and then build and restore broken dreams and promises with the refreshing scent of morning dews. I love you.
Awesome bridge poem!
