As i close my eyes  



images of you dance thru my head



i reach out for you  



i can feel your heart in my hands



the love it feels



the pain it tries to hide



the wall it has built around



a challenge to over come



but one step at a time



and the bricks begin to fall



there you stand  



proud n tall



a smile as wide as can be



looking back at me



with such gentleness  



you  brush my cheek



as the tear falls



kissing me softly



letting me know



that always  



will we be  



thru our dreams



in our thoughts



but mainly in our hearts



where we hold one another close



loving each other
