I feel the shiny instrument against my skin

The coldness of the steel on my wrist

These thoughts only confuse me



It seems to hide deep inside,

To tell you what it feels like would be suicide



I try to keep the emotions inside

I can't let you see me cry

Though you've heard me once before



I've felt your arms around me

And your vibrant love,

Your eyes have seen deep inside me



I've made a wish

Because in your eyes I see

The stars and the depth of the ocean



It is no longer cold

Pressing it harder into the skin

Sliding it with pressure,

I can feel it trickling down my palm



I no longer care

This life is no longer what it once was

And no more will happiness be able to fill my heart



Reality has struck me

Soon I will disappear

Fade away and never return



In your mind I might still remain

But soon in your heart I shall be replaced.
