If Laura has been called by
some the Stepford wife,
allowing her partner to do violence
and remaining in silence
her response has been
that politicians receive
opposition from so many sides they do not
need criticism from their spouses.
Still those who wage war
throw matches into
the gasoline tanks
of the world
When we watch
Governor Perry
we are reminded of Madame DeFarge
knitting as French
heads rolled.
However this time,
it is not glee for
the demise of the rich,
but the willingness to
executethe poor and powerless
which is saddening.
May God today come toall executioners
and warriors and butchers of animals
and interrogaters to show them
that The Way
of Peace, the Means of Peace, is the End to Peace.
God can this moment change any execution
governor into
to a Saint of Nonviolence.
May God show those of us in the peace movement
that we do not have enough data to judge anyone
.. that the Ocean of Spirit has no opinions
.. that we can work and pray for peace
without individual attacks.

Laura Bush has said that those in political life
have so many opponents they need not expect such
from their spouses.
We respect her loyalty to her husband..
at the same time there are some causes
such as preventing war, preventing execution,
preventing slaughter of millenial and centenarian
trees, etc. which CRY OUT FOR SPEECH.
Whether George is impeached tomorrow
or finishes this stolen term,
may Laura be more like Eleanor Roosevelt.

hand.. he has the genuine charisma people comment on..
