There’s moments in twilight
Where delightful exuberance soothes.
Before the dawn,
My existence, roused.
Laying with clouds of plenty;
Where sublime pleasure plays.
Wishing this half-light will linger,
And stay throughout the day.
Silent are the birds,
And dancing are the trees.
These desolate hours;
Bringing me to my knees.
The stunning glow surrounds;
Shooting like stars overhead.
I’d follow this twilight,
To anywhere it lead.
this is the kind of poem I
this is the kind of poem I always wanted to write.. but I just can't.. this is beautiful:)
My heart is smiling
You can do anything. Never sell yourself short. I've read a few of your poems and songs and they are nothing but beauitful. Your words flow magically and you tend to have this darkness that attracts my soul. I can't wait to have a little more time so I can read more of your work. Thank you for the comment and for taking the time to read. It's taken me a long time to write differently, I never use to be able to write about stuff like this. I'm usually comfortable in my darkness. I'll stop rambling, but thanks again. :)
**if it's an eye for an eye, then we'll all go blind.**
That's so sweet of you.. and
That's so sweet of you.. and thanks a lot! and everything I have written, it's all because of all the inspiration I got from poets like you here:)
