He never calls me “Sweetheart”;
He always just says my name.
He says it’s comforting to hear.
He says that it sort of transports him.
He never even tries to explain
“How much I love you”: words fail him.
He’s never MUCH at a loss for words, though;
Oh!, his words just love me, touch me, deeply.
He does have a sweet name for me: Sugah’.
But he always says I’m sweeter than that.
“One thing’s sweeter than Sugah’: MORE Sugah’!”
I love him because he is sweet, too.
He & I have two too-soft hearts.
Whenever I’m lonely, I think of him.
Whenever I think of him, I’m lonely.
He never calls anymore. Sugah’.
How do I manage to pick the titles that have not been commented on as yet? He Never Calls Me "Sweetheart" The title caught my eye immediately! I think everyone needs a little term of endearment to make them feel especially loved. It is so easy to forget the little things that keeps the spark alive. It works both ways. For years my husband's favorite thing I would say to him was "But, don't but honey me" sad, I have not heard that for awhile. Very good as everything I read that comes under your pen. ~Lesa~
