Forbidden love...cursed love.

Folder:
Oldies :)

That forbidden love.
My love.
That sealed feeling I'm cursed to keep deep down.
Were I to voice it, I may be better off alone anyway.
A cursed love.
Half love, full heart.
Expressed through the eyes that you glance past.
The sacred words whispered entirely in secret.
What horror would come to pass were I to break the ungiven oath?
My fears may form truth to know what lies behind your eyes.
Other feelings...other loves you are unwilling to admit.
Other stolen glances and hopeful smiles placed uncertainly in others' trust...hoping for the very response I've been waiting for all this time.
I hold out my heart every time you turn away.
My stomach twists its way into my throat every time you turn back, leaving me unable to speak.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This was something I wrote at EFY while I was *in love* with a councelor. Councelor/participant relationships are strictly prohibited, as one can imagine. But that's okay -- he turned out to be a jerk anyway...but even so. Strong feelings don't fade quickly.
