The Summer Season

Season Poems As I'm walking down the street,
I'm sweating from the heat.
The sun is beating down,
all across the town!
Kids run around,
filling the air with sound.
Pools have been filled with water,
and people are swimming like otters!
What a wonderful sight to see
everyone filled up with glee!
Looking up at the sky,
I see clouds floating by.
Everyone seems to be more
relaxed and a lot less sore.
The summer season is here,
and the stress of school, and work, disappear!
Hey...
So I was reading this, and I like the "I see clouds floating by" - this brought a very tangible image to my mind of a day spent at a nearby pool. It was a warm, overcast afternoon. Just the right amount of sun.
