Once night falls,

the moon rises high.

And the twinkeling stars,

shine in the sky.



Once night falls,

the birds no longer sing.

And far in the distance,

the church bells ring.



Once night falls,

the trees stand still.

And you can see the whole universe,

from one little hill.



Once night falls,

the city lights shine.

As people search for love,

and a good time.



Once night falls,

I hold you close to my heart.

And pray to the moon and the stars,

that we should never part.



In the breeze of the night air,

you can hear cupids calls.

For true love is always shown,

once night falls.
