My heart speaks of words,

that I don't understand.

My heart speaks of love,

that I can't see but it can.



My heart screams out her name,

but I cannot hear.

My heart tells me to smile,

but I shed a tear.



My heart tells me to go to her,

but my feet stay grounded.

My heart tells me to breathe,

but it feels like I'm surrounded.



My heart says she's the one,

and I should not let her go.

My heart doesn't understand,

what if she says no?



My heart feels love,

and it has good detection.

But what my heart really can't take right now,

is the sadness of rejection.
