I dream of you,

night and day.

through light or dark,

I dream of you coming my way.



Coming into my life,

and into my soul.

I see your beautiful eyes,

and I begin to lose control.



I'm that boy,

that passes you by.

That always stops and stares,

just to look into your eyes.



You have no idea,

how perfect you are,

You are the girl of my dreams,

you are a glimmering star.



I try to get over you,

thinking it's not meant to be.

But I can't get over the feeling,

of someday you and me.



I know I'm not attractive,

or have that model face.

But we have so much in common,

just in a different place.



We have the same personality,

and love to talk.

I dream that someday,

we could go on that romantic walk.



Under the starlight,

hand in hand.

Or laying in the grass,

listening to an old 50's band.



Walking down the street,

as it begins to snow.

Wondering what the other is thinking,

but no!



This will never happen,

it is just a dream.

Something I wished upon a star,

because I wanted to scream.



I want this dream so badly,

I want a fairy tale love.

If you could see what we have in common,

maybe we will receive a miracle from above.



Just look inside,

and see what we are.

Make my wish come true,

become my glimmering star.



I hope you will see,

that fairy tale dream.

Where the boy and the girl,

kiss in the final scene.



Where they ride away,

into the sun.

To live together forever,

for their dreaming is done.
