I talked to you,
You talked to me.
I began to fall for you,
and I thought you fell for me.
But then one rumor,
spread in my ears.
It was true, you like another,
then came the tears.
Every time you talked,
I always thought what might have been.
But you're with him,
and I will never love again.
I fell into love,
and then fell out.
Because I loved you,
without a doubt.
Now that I see,
what love can do.
It can make you love someone,
and then find out it's through.
I will never love again,
for you are the one.
But I cannot have you,
so my love life is done.
I know this feeling well. You did a wonderful job of very smoothly writing this one out, allowing the reader to realy feel the flow of emotion. I've only read one other poem of yours and it was a bit choppy which took away from the underlining measage. I see here that when you realy feel something you are good at putting it to a rithem/rhyme pattern, but maybe you should try something new. I would love to see you write a poem about this same instance with other poetic tricks such as free flow, alliteration, and repetition. Overall a great poem. Thank you for visiting my page, I realy appreciated the comments and I hope you visit again and read more.
