I am here,

but where are you?

You are not here,

what do I do?



I waited for this moment,

for so very long.

But once the day came,

you were gone.



The moment is now ruined,

and I miss you with all my heart.

And I cannot stand this,

when we are so far apart.



Your eyes I miss so dearly,

and your lips are on my mind.

And I can picture you at home,

as you are being left behind.



I promise you this,

that I will think of you through and through.

And even though we're so far apart,

I still love you.
