The realest and most talented to never be seen,

We stay underground- Too real for mainstream.

Each as an individual- One man teams,

Not rich and famous- Words too obscene.

We don’t vibe to beats- I actually prefer quiet,

If we put out a CD- Tell me, would you buy it?

Incredibly deep thinkers- But never think too much,

Inspiration strikes- And we get a Poetic Rush.

Each and every Poet- Writes with a different flavor,

We freestyle with a pen- We’re the Poetry And 1 players.

The best of the best- But never get a real shot,

We just write to write- But give it all we got.

We’re on a different level of all other writers,

We light up your mind- Lyrical lighters.

You relate to our words- You vibe to our rhymes,

Poetic intuition so great- We elevate your mind.

Intricate word manipulation- Left for your interpretation,

A gift so great there is no classification.

We cry through our poems- Words as our tears,

This is our expression- But it’s also your fears.

We are all linked together- An indirect team,

We remain Underground Poets- Too real for mainstream.
