One thousand I’m sorry’s wouldn’t right my wrong’s,
There’s nothing I can say to change the fact that you’re gone,
One thousand I love you’s wouldn’t justify my love,
There’s no amount of words in the world to explain what I’m thinking of.
I could sit and talk for hours to try and bring you back,
But I won’t because I know that you don’t want me to do that.
One thousand thank you’s wouldn’t show my appreciation,
And a million days apart wouldn’t take me out of this captivation.
I’d give anything I have to see you for just one more day,
But if we had a million conversations I still wouldn’t say all I want to say.
Two separate people, one broken heart,
With every passing day, I still don’t understand why we are apart.
I’d give up a lifetime of lust for one more moment of us two,
Just so I could say I spent one more moment in love with you.

GOOD ONE I
SEE THE WORK
THAT YOU PUT
INTO THIS ONE
Hey Michael, that was a touching poem. When did you write it? Do you still harbor these feelings for your ex? Write me back and tell me a lil more about this poem! :-)
