Let's assume we think we know
All we know may not be so
Nothing is as it appears
Gaining wisdom through the tears
Used to think my heart would race
Anytime I saw your face
Guessing it won't last much longer
Every setback makes me stronger
Going mad by staying sane
Ask a fool, they will explain
Many sleepless nights I've known
Every sin I shall atone
A sage river flows here
I will sit by the shore and listen.
Perhaps the following can be said: The second wisest man realizes he knows nothing. Meanwhile, the wisest man realizes he knows that little something. ; )
Wise words indeed. Thank you
I'm not sure why, but your comment reminds me of something Mark Twain said about his father:
'When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years'.
Live and learn. Have a good one.
