Fuck is a word
I find quite absurd
It just doesnt seem to be
A word with which I can agree,
In frustration it flows
To young ears the seeds it sows
And in moments intimate to you
That word simply will not push through.
I really wish 'that word' I could say
And I do admire the way
Some people just let it out
Without the need to shout.
Maybe for some it is not crude
But for me I could no more stand nude
In a people-filled street
Rockin' to the beat.
I guess the value of shock
Allows one to take stock
Of who they are and what they want
But then (ha!) Who gives a font!!
Quite a word huh ... the club ...I've used it on occasion but only in those rare instances where I thought the club was necessary...from one who uses it very spareingly, if in mind, it may show up and is abuntly effective....just wanted to share my experience with you....Jim

Now, this is a subject that I would have never thought to write about & you did it so artistically. Here is a little trivia on the word"fuck". It comes from the 16th century Old English courts to try prostitutes. It is an anacronysm for "fornication under carnal knowledge." Just thought you might like to know why this word exists. Interesting, eh? I loved this poem. Don't stop posting. Amy
