Be Human! Be Wrong!

When e'er your human ways are weak

Like most of us of whom I speak,

Try not to be forever right,

Be wrong... let someone else be right!

Perfection's not a human trait,

Regardless of how long we wait,

So why be right to bitter ends?

Be wrong! And you'll acquire friends.

So many have to prove they're right,

They win their point but lose the fight,

Why don't they try the other shoe,

And learn to give an inch or two?

Someday, in some far distant scene,

They'll come to know just what I mean,

They'll realize their instant loss

When first they argue with their boss!

To admit one is wrong puts one on the first step of being right...

A rather delightful insight into be "wrong" - and then becoming "right"...... I rather fancy that idea.

Good thoughts. Reminds me of looking down the opposite end of a straw!
