we used to talk for hours on end

throwing insaults and nicknames (out of love)

but my palms sweat when i'm around you now

i've forgotten how to speak to you

we used to fix each others problems

usually with a smile or a story

but i don't even know your problems now

i've forgotten how to fix them

we used to know each others thoughts

and occassionaly read each others minds

but we never think the same now

i've forgotten what your thinking

i've been around

we used to have the most comfortable silence

with our own thoughts stewing around

but asking about the weather is more comfortable now

i've forgotten how to be silent with you

and i can probably never be silent with you again

but i swear...
