i've got a good two hours
to bake my brains in the sun
open my eyes to
deepest azure Pacific dreams
of mottled oceans of sky
that could go on forever
in the sense that the universe is infinite
i've got a good two hours of still air
to let the heat collect
to burn my skin summer red
of desert island sands
of sugar and glass
that drip down through a time piece
each a microcosm of time
all the while the cars dance
mirage a piece of their liquid selves
on the road behind them
and seem to melt, then glisten together
in the sun rolling waves
it's days like these
i think i glow with them
Very good. Keep up the good work.
