As the long days go by

I feel so much for you.

And the heartache grows stronger

But there is nothing that I can do.

I thought you felt the same way,

The way I did for you.

But your heart belonged to another

And I didnt even have a clue.

Your heart was not for me

It was for a friend

But I thought we might have a chance

And we might last till the end.

I was terribly wrong

You had no feelings for me,

I was so caught up in my dreams

That the truth I could not see.

I felt so much for you

But you wouldnt even look my way,

And because that hurt so much

My tears hit the ground every day!

Loving you was my grand error

It was completely the worst!

And continually I am tormented

My heart has been cursed.

I must cast you out of my heart, out of my life,

Forever you must leave!

Leave this tortured soul alone,

For no more shall I grieve...

But before you go you must see

What you have done to me.

This love for you has only brought me pain.

And perpetual misery...
