that glimpes in your eye
made me take down my disguise
once so broken
always outspoken
caged in with fears
pouring out in all my tears
always putting up my walls
preventing myself from anymore tragic falls
shutting out the ones that loved me
but then you taught me to be free
i use to sit back and cry
then you came around and showed me how to fly
to let go
even when i was at my low
you took away the pain
brought me back to sane
your gentile kiss
i wouldn't go a day to miss
surrounded by this lust
i now can finally trust
these feelings are so real
i now can actually feel
you opened me up
came so quick and abrupt
at first wanted to run and hide
then you showed me a whole new light
before i thought i could never love
then you came and rose above
i was slowly loosing hope
running on a very thin rope
getting ready to break down
then you turned the frown around
when nobody was there
you always seemed to care
you weren't like the rest
only nothing but the best
nothing can replace the feeling of being in your arms
knowing nothing can ever bring me harm
the simple thing that could make me smile
hoping we will last awhile
when your away you consume my mind
going back and rewind
to when its just you and me
being so young, wild and free
intertwined, flooded with your warmth
pulsing in my cold forgotten veins
fingers playing with my hair
letting me know you are there
arms wrapped around me tight
reassuring me everything was going to be alright
been waiting so long
for someone like you to to come along
to prove me wrong
never thought it was possible to feel this way
but here you are taking my breath away
