Burning
Im living in a life of lies
This personal hell is burning at my skin
my eyes ripped out
i cannot see the truth.
You threw away my heart
with my letters and cards
but you dont understand
im standing here burning.
Just look a little closer
Read a little deeper
then you may see how i feel
(my heart burns for you)
Even my many tears
that run down my face
are boiling
from the fire within.
