For the second time in several days, a stray keystroke completely obliterated a very long prose essay on which I have been working for the last two hours. I do not know if I can recreate it now.
I cannot understand why the Lord allowed me to lose all this work---a second version of my previous essay on the film Doctor Zhivago. I firmly believe what Apostle Paul has stated, that all things work to our good. But I cannot understand how this does, although my Faith tells me that it not only does work to my good, it also must work to my good.
I ask the New Martyrs, Saints Elizabeth and Alexei Romanov, to pray for me that I might put aside resenment and anger for this debacle, and proceed in Faith rejoicing.
