Yet [*/+/^] : 27.225 MHz, Some Final Measures; Poem Inspired By Luke 19:40

No one can be a Christian alone,

nor eschew the Faith of its Fellowship;

or else, even a common stone

lacking throat, and mouth, and lip,

woud still cry out in a laudatory tone.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem came to me, unbidden and unsought, while reading crypticbard's poem, "door."  And although my poem does not directly allude to his, I feel there is some connection, since my poem came into my head while I was reading his.  In my old age, I have learned enough to recognize a case of inspiration, even if it is not a one to one correspondence; and, when younger, I failed too often to acknowledge it.  I will not make that error here.
