Yet [*/+/^] : To Zithers Summoned Hither To This Poem

The fellowship from Early Christianity

is not merely some dreamers' anomaly;

nor a relic leftover from ancient History:

it is, rather, the ultimate spirituality,

both apex and fulcrum of human destiny

(despite interference of human perfidy);

supreme in epic and lyric Poetry;

triumphant beyond some prosaic subversity;

its promise given to even such as me,

who receive with joy, however unworthily,

however (in this lifetime) fraught with flaw

Its kindness brings us to a sense of awe---

it blesses even the sound of a sneeze (Eshaw!):

this Faith which lifts us from our stumbled fall.

J-Called, a Saved and Baptized Christian; Januarius in Orthodox Chrismation.
