He---Who, during Creation, gave to us the vital breath
of our existence which we have betrayed by our sins' strife---
was born among us to destroy our death by His own Death;
and by His Sacred Resurrection raise us to true Life.
Tonight we faithful celebrate our Lord's nativity
into this broken world's deadly, depraving perfidy;
He, by His Death and Resurrection changed our destiny---
redeemed by Him to dwell in His Kingdom eternally.
