demanded the total repression
of all religious and political expression
to protect the so-called Good of "The People."
Yet, over all Russia (of which, he called himself "boss"),
every surviving Church's steeple---
towering over that diminustive and bitter man---
lifted, above him, the three-barred cross,
reminded him that Another's Will
would adjust history in a short time-span;
and he would be seared in his own boiling swill.
