[after encouraging words from Patriciajj, for whom I give thanks]
In You, Lord, I will trust, most of all when I am afraid.
In the moment of fear, Lord, I will have hoped in you, and prayed
that You will drive my terrors away, whenever they start to parade;
that I may not be removed from your light, Lord, whether in sun or shade;
that in my distress, I may hear those words of Christ, Be not afraid.

When that last line
When that last line thundered, I was profoundly moved in that way when you know you didn't just read some words with your mind, but with your soul. Your lyrical profession of faith, sincere and immovable, transported me to higher ground, far above the mortal fray.

So glad I could help. Sending more prayers and gratitude your way.
Thank you so very much for
Thank you so very much for those words. All of your comments are very precious to me, and your words are always profoundly meaningful: but this one is especially so---I think because it has arisen from a real crisis in my life, during which your words have been so salutary and so essential. I can never thank you enough: the greatness of your Poetry is exceeded only by the greatness of your Kindness and Compassion for a fellow human being. It is truly a privilege to live in the same time frame; to be one of your neighbors on this site; and to watch your great work of Poetry continue to expand.

I've feel privileged as well,
I've feel privileged as well, believe me. No need to thank me for something that's been my pleasure, but I'm deeply touched by your spirit of gratitude. As for your poetry, it's a joy to watch your vast collection evolve, flourish and make the world a more beautiful place. God bless you.
