Like the greatest of poems, Patriciajj's are more than just reading entertainment: they voice the cosmos for us. To paraphrase something Mallarme wrote, and Eliot borrowed, her poems purify and poeticize the cosmic dialect of our people. To paraphrase an imperative statement made by Pound at Eliot's memorial service: READ HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
