[after the Book of Acts]
An edge is there; and past it, to that lot,
no human being should dare to look; and what
fools they are who do. Thought they may walk
among the living, and small is their talk
(as for most living), they lack words to tell
that, in their souls, a conduit or well
has formed, and to the brim its contents swell---
the horrible visions of deepest Hell.

Takes me backs of early
Takes me backs of early readings of Bible heroes and "villains" which bring nuances to the narrative and textual criticism. So glad to fall upon this as revelation could sprout afresh when a listening heart and mind opens to the person and ministry of the illuminating divine pneuma. Just thrilled for the journey this poem has brought me in the reading. Thanks for having shared.

Thank you for that comment,
Thank you for that comment, on a poem I posted several years ago. I have not even looked at it, really, since I posted it. I am always very appreciative of your visits and your comments.
