Looking back I finally see
Just how things use to be
I remember the good not only the bad
And for these moments I am glad
It took the words of a stranger for me to see
Just the man you use to be
How you actually did once make me smile
For my safety for you'd walk ten thousand miles
Just to hug you was pure delight
After then we began to fight
She told me that you did still care
And some how I found truth there
You have a problem, this I see
Causing pain deep within me
Spilling through your blood it took over your mind
Searching your thoughts your weakness it did find
I'm still kind of angry, but more I understand
All you need is help, someone to take you by the hand
So help me help you, wont you please
Let us cure this horrible disease
Let me help you to open your eyes and see
See the man you use to be.
This is so beautiful! You are quite a talented young woman!
I am very proud of you! It takes wisdom beyond your years to examine such pain and decide to try to make it better.
I pray that your wish will be granted. Perhaps you should write your dad a long letter and enclose this explaining your feelings. Maybe even a picture of the two of you together. Something to start to tear down the wall that he has put himself behind.
