Why is it so hard to say goodbye?
When all you ever did was make me cry?
But I find it hard deep in my soul to let you go
Why is it so hard to say goodbye?
When everything you said was a lie?
But I need to find the strength inside to say goodbye
I tried to let you go so many times before
But you just keep coming back asking me for more
I don't know how much more I can take
Before you break my heart again
So why is it so hard to let you go?
You hurt me really bad, or didn't you know
But I need to let you go
Can't forgive you anymore
I need to let you go and say goodbye

I finally found the words to say
Goodbye..
Geez, been there, done that!
Those kind of good-byes are always the most difficult.
I have several with similiar thoughts.
