A Reason for Living
Its where you take me
its the way you make me
fall harder for you everyday
its meaning behind the words you say
that make me see
that you really do love me
and your not just dragging me along
with the words in a love song
the hour glass could fill a hundred times more
but never take away what I live for
always heart to heart, hand in hand
your love lasts longer than the falling sand
the stars could burn away one night
but the world would still have all your light
I would be happy just to walk along beside
as your glow acts as humanity's guide
to me your always above all else
when you touch me, my heart just melts
everything could fall away
just as long as you love me everyday
but I know it will always remain
you will never cause me pain
I picture us always together
laying side by side forever
but if one day its not the same
I will be happy to take the blame
becuase in my eyes your perfect
I would always reflect
on these times when the love we are giving
gave us a reason for living
"aawwwww" is the first word that comes to mind, but not in an elementary school sort of way. First off, I really like the poem. It flows and it is fun to read. Second, it is great to know that people can actually feel that sort of way about each other.
