creamy bitter love
soothing my lost soul
coaxing it to come back home
and fleeting i am
A connection of
body, soul and of feelings
the warm sip takes hold
I am with you now
for that one moment present.
the next moment gone.
Till we meet again
in that warming silken kiss
adieu Consciousness.
You had me at coffee

i'm not a coffer drinker, but i loved your poem. i do like coffee flavored ice cream though.
its difficult cause Im trying to cut down

Coffee addict here, we have The Machine. Kurig. And huge mugs and cups - who needs 8oz when 10 is so much more efficient? Mugs, (CDS's) caffeine delivery systems. Nice Haiku, M'dear ~~A~~
