Confusion reigns
The offers seem nourishing enough
But it's not what I crave;
Dizzy spells, I forgo the meat for air
Cotton candy lies wrap me so sweetly
I want the empty comfort it brings
Fleeting and light
With the promise of flight
Lifting my feet off the ground beef
So rich and sustaining
Hunger forgoes flesh for fantasy
And I am contented more still
Engorged by the thought of you
Lifting my hopes higher
Than any mountain I must climb
and is so easy to get there.
A Sudden blackness
I fade into bliss...
