The grind of daily monotonies make even the best beans seem impotent
I can't seem to start the day without dragging myself through the rings of denial
Sleepless nights blur into facetious days dragging the spirit down deeper
Despair? No, not there yet, but desperately close. The anvils on the back pressing
Urgent, urgent! But there's many more to carry heavy and groaning never ending
Fun passes arrogantly by in big parades with no hint of an invitation.
On and on it goes into one oblivion then the next, a haze of monotony
back breaking, spirit taking, mind numbing work...
And the charms of life hang upon others necks, the lucky, the fortunate
The ones fate hold dearly, me I am just a speck brushed aside
a fool for believing I had a right to a charmed life.
