even now exhausted
I admire your handywork.
it brings me great relief and peace to know
I can still count on you.
The constant elevation in my eyes
is an ache that refuses to fall.
I love you so deeply, intently
I cant hold a candle to our longing flame.
I wish it was back the way it was
before it all got too much and
snowballed out of restraint.
A slip.
A tiny slip
is all it took to melt away.
Exhausted even now
I admire your handy work.
you can try, I can try to take us back,
back to where we shared the same space
and felt the hum of our heatbeats
travel along the airwaves sending
heart songs and love notes.
I can barely move from such a long
hard emotional day.
Even through every ache and frustration,
tired eyes and hands still wont give up on you
I will claw my way millimeter by millimeter
back to that time when the world was privately ours,
and we walked along in plain view
of jealous eyes with nothing but
a purtiy of heart with an underlying heat
that spawned the passion unyielding and unforfilled
still burning.
What moments we shared you and I
before your skills failed us on the bye
So now, you craft my world silently from afar
still proping me up, lifting my soul,
sending love waves through the distance
and I admire your craft even now
with heart and soul giving freely as I
lay in an alternate destiny in anothers arms
dying for you.
