When the going gets tough Golden moments fall out of frozen happiness
These glimmers through cracks in moments ungarded
Sustain and revive my cold existence.
Its been had its been done and yet
hope still rises like a feather on the wind.
Dont take this one spire that thrusts above the clouds
And break it cold heartless obligation halt
Love must live forever or what else is there?
Droning and grinding duty why do you forsake my happiness?
Quiet leave me be. Hopeful, another golden moment slips through
drops and splatters upon my heart. I rise i lift light as a feather
Wrapped in golden warmth and alive in hope.
